Avril Lavigne is getting personal on the follow-up to her 2002 multi-platinum debut, Let Go, which she’s been recording at the Malibu home of fellow Canadians Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida. Avril DVD to Debut on Big Screen


Avril Lavigne’s “My World” DVD will premiere the day prior to its official Nov. 4 street date with screenings at AMC Theaters in 24 U.S. cities. The artist will attend the premiere in New York, at the AMC Empire 25 Theaters in Times Square. Sarah, Avril Link for Oxygen Concert


Canadian singers Sarah McLachlan and Avril Lavigne will share a stage for the first time when women’s cable network Oxygen presents “Sarah McLachlan Custom Concert featuring Avril Lavigne.” The show, to take place Nov. 4 in New York, will be broadcast Nov. 9 by Oxygen at 9 p.m. ET. Arista Records and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have joined forces to release music DVDs, beginning with the Nov. 4 launch of Avril Lavigne’s “My World,” featuring a concert, a behind-the-scenes featurette, five music videos, and a six-song bonus audio CD that includes four unreleased tracks. Avril, Sum 41, Sarah McLachlan Set For Toronto SARS Benefit


Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, and Sarah McLachlan are just a few of the artists who will help their home country of Canada, and especially the city of Toronto, by performing a benefit concert at Toronto’s Skydome and Air Canada Centre on Saturday (June 21).
