Cassadee Pope‘s “Wasting All These Tears” is getting the Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato re-record treatment. The former Hey Monday singer just released “Wasting All These Tears (Cassadee’s Version),” giving a rock rewrite to her 2013 country track. Pope traded in twangy acoustic guitar strums for pulsing drums and basslines, though her voice is just as powerful as ever with awe-inducing belts across both versions. The music video follows the vocalist decked out in pink à la Elle Woods of ‘Legally Blonde,’ and it even features a perfect pup Chico The Chihuahua.
