Whatever you think about Marvel, they sure do give us a lot to talk about. Sherin, Soma, Philip, and Alice dive into the new Disney+ series Loki with a spoiler-filled Geek Girl Riot episode that cuts deeper than the TVA.

They kick off by setting up the series and sharing their first impressions going in vs. their impressions further down the (time)line. Ooh and their opinions split off more than Kang’s new multiverse. Then it’s time to talk about the characters: They introduce Sylvie and discuss whether or not she is a true Loki, before getting into what they think Kang’s appearance means for the MCU.

Of course, they couldn’t talk Loki without discussing the #selfcest romance between the two leading Lokis. This leads them into a conversation about queer baiting in Marvel/Disney properties and whether this story holds together. They close out with their final thoughts and their predictions on how this series is going to fit into the next phase of the MCU.

Tune in to Geek Girl Riot on idobi Radio every Tuesday at 11pm ET / 8pm PT for your dose of late-night geekery. ’Til next time, see a list of everything our Rioters talked about below:
