This past Thursday night, Relient K’s 10th Anniversary Mmhmm Tour played to a sold out New York City crowd, showing that the band still leaves the same impact, if not an even greater one on fans. Along for the ride were Blondfire and From Indian Lakes. It would be easy to say that each and every band on the ballot complemented the next; however, that would be an understatement. The energy and excitement of the crowd grew as the show progressed and ultimately exploded the second Relient K hit the stage. The band not only played their album Mmhmm in its entirety but also incorporated songs from their entire discography, including “Sadie Hawkins Dance,” “Come Right Out And Say It,” and “Sahara.” If you have the chance to make it out to one of few dates left of this tour, you should head out to it. This is one anniversary tour that you should not miss out on.
