Call it “Like Kurtis.” Bow Wow, with help from Jermaine Dupri and Fabolous, has remade Kurtis Blow’s “Basketball” for the soundtrack to his upcoming film “Like Mike.” The rappers will gather in Los Angeles next week with director Chris Robinson (Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg) to shoot a video for the single. Britney Spears’s new Pepsi commercial will be unveiled during the first quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 3). The 90-second ad, dubbed “Now And Then,” will take viewers on a ride through Pepsi’s advertising history-the Pepsi Generations. Spears stars in Pepsi commercials with ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s themes, rocking all the way up to 2002 with her updated version of the “Joy Of Pepsi” song. R&B quartet Boyz II Men has leapt to BMG imprint Arista Records for a new multialbum contract, following the completion of its deal with Universal Music. The Philadelphia-based group, which has sold more than 60 million albums, plans to head into the studio in mid-September and expects to release its first disc under the new pact in the first half of next year.
