Columbia Records, Music Choice & Notorious Present September 'Street Team' Episode

Music Choice today announced the September “Street Team” show, which gives viewers a glimpse into the world of rising young bands Craving Theo, Spike 1000, Stereomud and Endo.

Shows air between September 10th and September 16th. Check http://www.musicchoice.com or your local cable company for specific times.

Columbia Records, Music and Notorious Pictures Inc. cooperatively create “Music Choice Presents: Street Team,” the next generation of rock & roll television. Street Team is an all-access journey into the fast-paced world of rock & roll. Combining the best elements of reality television and music, Street Team http://streetteamtv.com goes outside the box of standard music programming to bring music fans a behind-the-scenes look of the rock & roll lifestyle previously “off limits” to the public eye.

Each of the four segments in a “Street Team” episode provides an in-depth documentary view of a different artist or band. While the bands are making music, “Street Team” is making television and both are caught live and uncensored as they simultaneously create contemporary culture. “Street Team” reaches 25 million households through local cable systems around the country.

The first segment features Craving Theo at rehearsal in their hometown of Portland, OR. “Street Team travels with the band to their gig at the “Rockfest” in St. Helens, OR. Craving Theo’s music is hard-rocking, complex and deeply personal.

Then “Street Team” heads to New York City to hang with the band Endo. The third segment features Spike 1000 in the “Pain and Suffering” tour. Spike 1000’s sound is a blend of grinding guitars and sledgehammer rhythms fronted by the powerful voice of singer Shannon Harris.

The final segment follows Stereomud on three performances on the Pain and Suffering Tour, which include shows at Irving Plaza and the Bowery Ballroom. The band celebrates the release of their first album, Perfect Self with the “Street Team” crew. The album is getting a lot of buzz and is number 17 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Stereomud’s music is fresh and organic with slam-banging songs that range from powerful, pissed-off anthems to addictively melodic and commercially viable rock tunes.
