Mom Jeans Re-Work Popular Songs On Surprise Album “Bear Market”

Indie-rock group, Mom Jeans has surprised us all today by dropping a new album, Bear Market. Technically the songs aren’t new, but the sound and execution is entirely fresh. Bear Market consists of sixteen popular Mom Jeans tracks completely re-imagined and re-worked into beautiful, new versions. The band has even given each track a different name, while still paying tribute to the original title. For example, “Edward 40Hands” is now just “40 hands“, “Death Cup” is now “death by cup“, and “What’s Up?” is now “wassup 😉.” We love the clever approach – recognizable but easily differentiated. “We had all… Read more »

Roe Kapara Unveils His Dance-Worthy New Single, “Fajita!”

In a tasty follow-up to his sugary-sweet September release, “The Dead Come Talking,” Roe Kapara has unveiled his feel-good, dance-worthy new single, “Fajita!” Accompanied by a kitschy lyric video that features Kapara hidden beneath a brown paper bag with an exaggerated frowning face on the front, Kapara is seen dancing with abandon in a bed of tiny yellow flowers, only further enhancing the groovy new track. “Fajita!” exudes an enchanting, effervescent aura, particularly evident in the track’s chorus, where Kapara whimsically croons, “Too silly/I’m too goofy for your touch/I need it/Fills me up/$450 paid for dinner at the bar/Fajita/Burn my… Read more »
