Timberlake, Aguilera Notch Triple Platinum


Summer touring partners Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera each saw their latest solo albums reach the triple-platinum plateau in August. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified Timberlake’s “Justified” (Jive) and Aguilera’s “Stripped” (RCA) for U.S. shipments of 3 million copies. Both albums debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The artists recently wrapped their co-headlining Justified & Stripped U.S. summer tour and now have set their sights on Europe. Timberlake, Hill Sign On For Billboard Music Awards


Justin Timberlake and Faith Hill have been added to the performance lineup for the 2002 Billboard Music Awards, joining previously announced performers Avril Lavigne, Creed, Nelly, and Puddle Of Mudd. The event will air Dec. 9 on Fox live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Anthony Green Shares New Singles “Last Summer In America” & “All Hours”


It’s a good day to be an Anthony Green fan! Holiday Shoppers Return Eminem to No. 1 on Charts


Los Angeles – Eminem was the top-seller among last-minute holiday shoppers as “Encore” returned to No. 1 on the U.S. album charts last week after a month-long absence. The rapper’s latest Shady/Aftermath/Interscope set jumped two places after selling 430,000 copies in the week ended Dec. 26, a 36% increase, according to Nielsen SoundScan data issued Wednesday. “Encore” now has three non-consecutive weeks atop the chart, including a two-week stay at No. 1 in November.
