Just months after releasing their fourth studio album to applause from critics and fans alike, Augustana have announced that they are breaking up. Frontman Dan Layus elaborated in an interview with Red Bull USA.

Hasidic reggae rapper Matisyahu and rock act Chiodos will join the 2008 Vans Warped Tour lineup for limited dates this July, Billboard.com has learned. Matisyahu, who joins the Vans Warped Tour for the first time, will appear in the traveling rock festival July 9-11 and on July 13 at St. John’s Country Fairgrounds in Jacksonville, Florida. Vans Warped Tour veteran Chiodos joins the trek on July 18 at Comerica Park in Detroit. INDIO, California – Perhaps it was a sign that the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire and Hot Chip were sharing the same bill. Whatever the case, Saturday was certainly one of the most scorching Coachella afternoons ever, with temperatures into the100s for hours on end. Andrew McMahon, lead singer of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. He is being treated in Los Angeles and his doctors expect a full recovery. Tour dates for both Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate are postponed until further notice. Per Andrew’s request, Jack’s Mannequin’s debut album, Everything in Transit, will be released on Maverick Records in August as planned.
