The Vans Warped Tour is gearing up for its 18th year and celebrating with a lineup stacked with both old favorites and new artists for audiences to fall in love with. To get you ready, our writing staff have picked seven bands that can’t be missed this summer.
Spirits were high as The Noise Tour, featuring There For Tomorrow, We Are The In Crowd, and Mayday Parade, kicked off its first show at The Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale, NY.

One of the more thoughtfully named tours in recent memory has embarked on its journey.
Those walking into Webster Hall’s studio room for The Bring Me Home tour were caught off guard by what was going on around them. Fans were marked with a Closure in Moscow stamp, a cat roamed the venue freely and bands’ equipment was left astray and unguarded. Not to mention it was one o’clock in the afternoon, a time when most of those attending could have just as easily been sleeping.
In honor of Hopeless Records turning 30, Scene Queen has covered “The Best Thing (That Never Happened)” by We Are The In Crowd for the label’s Hopelessly Devoted To You compilation album. The song originally appeared on We Are The In Crowd‘s 2014 LP Weird Kids. Cameron Hurley has had a storied career since joining We Are The In Crowd in 2009. After the band’s success across Warped Tour, Hurley has furthered his guitar skills and artistry alongside bandmate Taylor Jardine under the stage name Sainte and has even played alongside Avril Lavigne and State Champs. Now, Hurley has hurled himself into his own passion project—a complete cover album of blink-182’s 1997 album Dude Ranch under the moniker new.wav.
