Daniel McCartney Vol. 2 (The Continuance Foundation)

Daniel McCartney is back! It’s been two years since he first launched The Continuance Foundation, a non-profit organization on a mission to bring mental health services to musicians at no cost. Daniel has been working in the touring industry for years, and when he noticed a lack of resources and support for musicians and their mental health, he decided to do something about it. Since we spoke in 2020, the foundation has continued to evolve and grow with new services and programs. Daniel and I have benefited from various resources, so I hope you’ll support his efforts to provide a more profound conversation regarding mental health.

Daisy Draper is a songwriter who creates music to heal trauma and shine awareness on holistic mental wellness. Daisy is an old soul who generously shares her self-examination, discovery, and healing. This episode discusses mental health, personal growth, and how her work fuels her music.

Kaleena Zanders

Kaleena Zanders is one of the fastest emerging stars in music—and you’ll learn why in this conversation. Kaleena has been compared to tons of 90s house vocalists, and Zanders music brings the genre back to its queer, Black origins. Her new track “RELOAD,” which was written about her personal experience with police brutality at the end of last year captures the idea the love can heal over hate. We talked about her powerful song, what’s coming next and how 2020 has impacted her mental health.

FYI, the video for “RELOAD” is a must-watch! Hope you enjoy the episode and share with a friend.
