Backstreet Boys Fans, Friends & Family To Unite For Convention


Backstreet Boys fans from around the world will head to Baltimore on Saturday and Sunday (March 2 and 3) for the first ever Backstreet Boys 2002 Fan Convention at the BWI Marriott Hotel. Backstreet Boys Turned Into Rabbits, Bears


Although two of the Backstreet Boys have gotten into some adult-oriented trouble of late, in August, fans can catch the group projected in a much more child-like light. The pop quintet will be rendered as animated manimals (part man, part animal) in an hour-long special broadcast of the PBS children’s cartoon “Arthur,” in which all the characters are drawn with some amalgam of human and animal characteristics. Backstreet Boys' 'The Hits: Chapter One' Due October 30


The Backstreet Boys release their first-ever greatest-hits package, titled The Hits: Chapter One, on Tuesday (October 30). The 13-song collection includes the group’s new single “Drowning” and also comprises songs from the group’s 1996 album Backstreet Boys, 1999’s Millennium, and last year’s Black & Blue. Backstreet Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd Kick-Off ClearChannel.Com Relief Fund


In support of the President’s wishes that the country return to its normal routine following yesterday’s tragedies, the Lynyrd Skynyrd and Backstreet Boys performances tonight in Raleigh, North Carolina and Toronto, Ontario, respectively, will be held as originally scheduled. Backstreet Boys On Course To Continue Tour As Planned


As A.J. McLean continues treatment for alcoholism, depression and anxiety, the Backstreet Boys are on course to resume their tour as planned on August 24 in Milwaukee, the group’s spokesperson said. On August 4, McLean left the rehabilitation center where he had been staying since early July, and moved to a “transitional care” facility in Los Angeles, according to the Backstreet Boys’ publicists. McLean Extends Rehab – Backstreet Boys Reschedule Tour


Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean has extended his time in rehabilitation for two weeks, forcing the teen-pop phenomena to postpone their North American tour for a second time, the group’s members said on Tuesday.
