Two Members Of Backstreet Boys In Car Accident


Two members of the Backstreet Boys were involved in a three-vehicle accident Monday night in Lexington, Kentucky. Upon leaving a charity golf tournament at the University of Kentucky, a car in which A.J. McLean and Brian Littrell were passengers was sideswiped by a car that had been struck by another car. The Backstreet Boys will soon be heading into the studio to record a new album. Once members wrap up some individual projects, the award-winning group will reunite to record, with a fall release date in mind. Backstreet Boys Sue Zomba Seeking $100 Million


The Backstreet Boys say they are the victim of boardroom politics and are fighting back with a $100 million lawsuit against their record label. They have sued Zomba Music Group, saying the record label effectively barred the group from recording a new album because of a preoccupation with a now-completed merger with German media giant Bertelsmann AG. The Backstreet Boys will pay a visit to Elwood City in the PBS Kids animated series Arthur at 8 p.m. ET on September 1. A former keyboard player with the Backstreet Boys has filed a copyright suit claiming co-ownership of two songs on the group’s Jive album “Black & Blue,” Billboard Bulletin reports. The suit – filed Friday by Tommy Smith in U.S District Court for the Central District in Los Angeles -names group members Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, A.J. Former Backstreet Boys keyboardist-songwriter Tommy Smith filed a lawsuit against the group, the members’ individually owned and operated personal music-publishing companies, and Zomba Enterprises, Inc. in the United States District Court Central District Of California on Friday (March 15).
