I want to start off with saying you’re all amazing. No, seriously. I’ve listened to both of your bands for years, have seen you multiple times, and generally just flail around when people mention any of you.
A lot of life has happened in the past ten years. Just think about everything that has consumed the world since 2005—graduations, weddings, the rise of the smartphone, and an entire language understood only by twelve year olds (**insert fourteen emoticons to thank Instagram here**).
Yeah, we get it — hating everything your parents love is a rite of passage growing up. But every once in a while, you have to admit when they’ve gotten it right.
