Ticketmaster Revamps Subscription-Offer Policy After Investigation


The country’s leading concert ticket distributor will be more cautious in offering free trial magazine subscriptions to callers after an investigation found consumers were being automatically charged for full subscriptions, something many of them did not want. Ticketmaster and Time, Inc. answered allegations from New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer Monday (January 7) over the concert ticket giant’s “up-selling” of subscriptions to customers who phoned to purchase tickets for events across the country. Ticketmaster, the world’s leading ticketing and access company, is teaming with multi-platinum Lava/Atlantic recording group Sugar Ray to offer fans two easy and convenient ways to access advanced tickets to their upcoming US summer tour. blink-182 Cancels Final Two Mexico City Dates Due To Illness


Following back-to-back shows on April 2 and 3 in Mexico City, blink-182 has unfortunately been forced to cancel their final two Mexico dates today, April 5, and tomorrow, April 6, due to an illness in the camp.  In a statement sent to fans, the band’s camp shared, “Sadly, blink-182 shows, April 5 and 6 at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City, have been canceled due to illness.” The statement continues, informing ticket-holding fans that refunds will be processed back to the point-of-purchase card for tickets purchased online.
