For the thousands of eager hardcore fans who gathered under the glittering florescent marquée, there was no doubt that The Wiltern Theatre at the corner of Wilshire and Western boulevards was the place to be Friday night.

Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was laid to rest yesterday with a service at Los Angeles’ Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary. Reports that AM’s former fiancée Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden attended the burial were said to be “inaccurate.” AM’s girlfriend, Hayley Woods, DJ Jazzy Jeff, actor Scott Caan and producer the Alchemist, who reportedly served as a pallbearer, were present at the service. HOLLYWOOD – It had been four and a half years since Blink-182 performed together on a stage. A December 2004 gig in Dublin, Ireland was the last time, to be exact. Well, now it’s been not even a week.
