The edgy, pop-rock star’s clothing line “Abbey Dawn” was named after her childhood nickname. “I actually am the designer,” she told Newsweek for editions on newsstands Monday. “I try everything on and approve it all.” She joined a long line of celeb-turned-designers, including Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson. New York – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants Jennifer Lopez to “Get Right” when it comes to fur. Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland, who celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday, and bassist Duff McKagan are slated perform an acoustic version of the Rolling Stones classic “Angie” (alongside some “special surprise guests”) this Thursday, October 30, at the famous Los Angeles photography studio SmashBox. The suspect who was dubbed the “Eminem” bank robber by New Jersey police was arrested on Thursday (February 27) due in part to the unusual reversible jacket and wool hat that earned him his nickname. Michael R. Hasuga, 44, of Belleville, New Jersey, is believed to be the bank robber that federal agents and New Jersey authorities have been trying to apprehend for months, and the same suspect that was featured on the Newark FBI’s Most Wanted List.
