Marriage was reportedly too “complicated” for rock couple Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley. The couple has reportedly split after three years of marriage. According to Us Weekly, Lavigne, 25, has made Whibley, the 29-year-old lead singer for the band Sum 41, leave their home in Bel Air, Calif. “She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on,” an Us Weekly source claimed. “Divorce papers will be filed any day now.” Another magazine source said Whibley “is crushed.” The couple got engaged in June 2005 and wed in July 2006 in Montecito, Calif., in front… Read more »
For months now Canadian pop princess Avril Lavigne and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley have been sidestepping rumours that they’re snuggling up and making some sweet Can-Rock love. The recent ‘breaking news’ that has been misconstrued around the world exemplifies the media’s constant invasion of people’s personal lives and reporting of unsubstantiated rumors and/or appearances. “If there was a picture that captured Deryck kneeling, it was more likely him bending over to pick up the crack pipe that fell out of the paparazzi’s pocket than him… Read more »

If you’re in the mood for a banger, then you’re in luck. Beauty School just shared the music video for “Reaper,” featuring The Wonder Years’ frontman Dan Campbell. While the song is a sweet and sour ode to the inevitability of death, the music video is more of a celebration of life. It sees the band members rocking out in a warehouse, joined by the reaper himself. It’s a smart and satirical take on a heavy topic, which is right up Beauty School’s alley. A match made in heaven, this collab is everything you never knew your emo-punk-loving soul needed.… Read more »
