2024 is the year of IDLES. The British punk band has been sharing dazzling singles including “Dancer,” “Gift Horse,” and “Grace” ahead of their LP release TANGK, due out on February 16. Marking their first new music of 2024 and perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day, Loveless has unleashed their infectious new single, “Addicted.” And yes, yes we are. While the track explores emotional dependency culminating in addiction (“I lie to you again/She said is it gonna be alright?”), the accompanying music video depicts a life of lush luxury reined in by the group’s success. If you weren’t on the 2024 ShipRocked Cruise, you missed out on a dazzling collab from Afterlife and Dayseeker. Luckily, you can find a snippet of the crossover on Afterlife’s Instagram page. Lead singer Tyler Levenson joined Dayseeker during their set to add screams to 2022’s “Dreamstate” from Dark Sun. Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival is back for its sixth year in a row, and its 2024 lineup is positively stacked. The festival teased Bad Omens as a headliner days before the official full lineup announcement, and that teaser alone was met with major excitement. Running July 19-21, the famous Inkcarceration is, of course, taking place at The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield. Arm’s Length says “I Don’t Love You,” with their cover of the My Chemical Romance single. The Canadian emo outfit recently dropped this single ahead of their upcoming spring tour.
