Infused with raw vulnerability and unbridled honesty, the trio delivers a candid exploration of the inner turmoil and self-doubt that accompanies imposter syndrome. “For a long time, I’ve grappled with a lot of deeply held insecurities and how those show up in my life,” Rena Lovelis shares in a press release. Knox Can’t “Change Your Mind” On New Single

As he wraps up his current tour, Knox is showcasing his brand-new single, “Change Your Mind,” via Atlantic Records. Excitingly, some lucky concert attendees got to hear the song live well ahead of its official release. The brilliantly bright breakup song is sonically euphoric. Over claps and guitar strums, Knox sings, “I could change the way that I talk/Patch up the holes in my walls/Fix all the ways that I fell short/I could quit the drink and the smoke/Start lifting heavier stones/But what’s the point anymore?/’Cause nothing’s gonna change the fact that you walked out that door/So I’m losing my… Read more »

Frontwoman Connie Sgarbossa says of the record, “This album was a chance for us to refine some of the melodic elements we had recently introduced to the band while also playing around with all things and bringing… Read more »

11 Empowering, Alternative Songs To Soundtrack National Ex-Spouse Day

It seems indicative of U.S. divorce trends that we could reasonably add National Ex-Spouse Day to the calendar between the bookends of April Fool’s Day and 4/20. Lo and behold, April 14 stands as the designated date for reflection on the heels of romantic dissolution. Officially, it’s a day to assuage anger and practice forgiveness—but let’s be real here: that’s about as engaging as a rainy day lecture on the history of watching paint dry. In the interest of feeding our delusion of music being a cure-all, we’ve opted for a decidedly more “teenage angst” approach in celebrating the sanctioned… Read more »

Young Rising Sons want to take you to “(Un)Happy Hour.” The Brooklyn act released a music video for the bubbly track. With a catchy chorus and bright guitars, the indie-pop rockers are tapping into a sound that’s almost nostalgic while reflecting on past experiences.
