After a nearly 10 year hiatus and reformation in 2022, Woe, Is Me has announced their signing to SBG Records.
“When we made the decision to start making music again, signing to a label wasn’t exactly something we were looking to do,” the band shares. “However, signing with SBG Records feels like the perfect next step for us. They have been extremely welcoming, made us feel comfortable, and excited to be creating music again. They have an amazing team that understands our vision for this band, and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be working with them. This is the start of something huge and truly special!”

Since reforming in October 2022 with the “Vengeance” single lineup—consisting of Michael Bohn, Hance Alligood, Andrew Paiano, Kevin Hanson, Austin Thornton, Cory Ferris, and Ben Ferris—the group has been steadily performing. They’ve also played a number of festivals, all in 2023, including So What?!, Capulet Fest, Inkcarceration, and Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Most recently, the group performed in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Atlanta, GA, to massive crowds.
The band is currently teasing a release scheduled to arrive on November 22. In their first teaser, captioned with the date of the release, you can hear static overlayed on a dark, glitched-out video. The second teaser, which was posted two days ago, is captioned, “Bring Me To Life // nov. 22.” This time, however, the static-filled video turns into the duel vocal chorus of Evanescence’s 2003 breakout single, “Bring Me To Life.”
