Just over a month ago, rumors began swirling across the internet about the highly anticipated return of the Vans Warped Tour, the beloved festival founded by Kevin Lyman, which last rocked fans more than five years ago in California in 2019. After running through its final stops in Cleveland, OH; Atlantic City, NJ; and Mountain View, CA in 2019, Warped Tour is SO back! On September 17, in an exclusive statement to Pollstar, Lyman confirmed the festival’s monumental comeback. “We have something cooking for 2025. Details should be ready in a few weeks,” he revealed, igniting a wave of excitement across the alternative music community.
Now, just over a month later, Warped Tour mania has swept through Las Vegas, NV, ahead of this year’s When We Were Young Festival on Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20. While full details on the festival’s return—including lineups—remain under wraps, the anticipation is undeniable.

To further stoke the excitement, Warped Tour promotions have started appearing across Las Vegas ahead of WWWY kicking off. From airport ads to billboards and taxi wraps, the city has been painted with reminders of the festival’s legendary status. The teasers reveal the dates of the tour—June 14 and 15 in Washington D.C. at the RFK Campus festival grounds, July 26 and 27 in Long Beach, CA at Shoreline Waterfront, and November 15 and 16 in Orlando, FL at Camping World Stadium Campus. Tickets will be available beginning next week on October 24, 2024.

With thousands of pop-punk and emo fans descending upon Las Vegas for When We Were Young, the timing of Warped Tour’s teasers couldn’t be more perfect. Additionally, Kevin Lyman is currently in Las Vegas hosting his annual charity bowling event and will be acting as a tour guide on October 19 and 20 at the Punk Rock Museum.
While Warped Tour’s full-scale return may still be months away, the groundwork is clearly being laid for something epic!
UPDATE: As Warped Tour teasers continue to pop up in Vegas, the festival has tweeted that presale for tickets will begin on Thursday, October 24 at 12 PM ET/9 AM PT. 2-day passes will start at $149.98 with fees included.
