Snoop Dogg (a.k.a. Calvin Broadus) was hit with marijuana possession charges after two of his tour buses were pulled over for speeding just west of Cleveland. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped the buses on I-90, where Snoop’s buses were en route to tonight’s show in Milwaukee as part of the appropriately named Puff, Puff, Pass Tour.
About 200 grams of marijuana were found on one bus, and Snoop and two other passengers were charged with the misdemeanor possession offense, which carries a maximum penalty of a $100 fine. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, which could result in a thirty-day jail term.
Following tonight’s show, the Puff, Puff Pass Tour, will make stops in St. Paul, Minnesota, and Chicago, before wrapping up October 27th at the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans.
