Are you ready to get hit with some sweet, sweet nostalgia? Get ready to laugh and cry along with Simple Plan because their Amazon Prime documentary, Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd, officially launched earlier this week, and today, they shared something else special. The iconic pop-punk quartet just shared a new track and music video for “Nothing Changes,” inspired by vignettes of their past shared in the doc. And yes– it might also make you cry.

Pierre Bouvier sings, “We grew up on stages/Say what you want but we won’t stop dreaming/We don’t want to wake up/Night after night gotta find that feeling/Twenty five summers doesn’t feel so long/A thousand miles away but we’re right wherе we belong.”

Drummer Chuck Comeau notes, “We’re so excited for our fans to finally be able to watch this documentary. Working on it has been such an emotional rollercoaster as we got to relive our own story, from playing in our parents’ basement to performing sold-out shows all over the world, and everything it took to get there. We hope our fans will enjoy it and be inspired to follow their own dreams.”

He adds, “We’re also thrilled to share ‘Nothing Changes,’ a brand new song and video inspired by the documentary and the past 25 years and marking the next chapter in our musical journey.”

Check out the new track below, listen to the documentary soundtrack ASAP, and check out the documentary right here. (P.S. If you don’t have Prime, you can absolutely use their free trial to watch the doc, among other titles on the streaming service.)
