Matt Cutshall is the mastermind behind Emo’s Not Dead and more viral emo videos. Simple Plan took to the 2024 When We Were Young Fest stage on October 19 and 20 to play their hits and also announce a forthcoming band documentary. Pierre Bouvier shared that the audience from the festival will be part of the documentary, which is set to launch on Prime Video in 2025 via Sphere Media. Marking their first new music of 2024 and perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day, Loveless has unleashed their infectious new single, “Addicted.” And yes, yes we are. Simple Plan brought their latest “Iconic” collaboration with Jax to the 2023 When We Were Young Fest stage. From the band’s 2022 LP Harder Than It Looks, “Iconic” was given a flashy revamp on October 13 with help from the “Victoria’s Secret” singer and TikTok star.
