Remember when BTS’ new album went up on Amazon pre-order featuring seemingly unavailable album art? Well, now we know the meaning behind the “Now Printing” artwork (we told you it meant something): BTS have released the concept photos of LOVE YOURSELF: ‘Her’; paired with each letter of L, O, V, and E. These all represent their newly unveiled album concept, ‘Boys in Love’! You can see all of the photos below—just be sure to pace yourself. It’s a whole lot of wonderful to take in.
Our resident K-pop lovin’ Geek Girl Rioter Mel N of course had a lot to say on the subject, and you can find her reaction to the photos below too! If you need even more wonderful, keep scrolling to see the LOVE YOURSELF ‘Her’ ‘Serendipity’ comeback trailer, which features Jimin singing lyrics written by Rap Monster. Our Reaction
Our weekend started off shrouded in mystery as ARMY took notice to a clock counting down. With each hour the BTS door graphic started to open ever so slowly. But what was behind the door? And then there it was…Serendipity. One of the most beautifully shot videos featuring Jimin, with gorgeous visuals and such a dreamy voice. This is the first time a BTS vocalists has sung the introduction on an album and we are thankful, so very thankful, and equally grateful to Rap Monster for creating this masterpiece.
BTS had now revealed the L, O, V, E concept photos from LOVE YOURSELF: ‘Her’. The concepts are so dreamy and definitely display the album concept of “Boys in Love”. L & O are so romantic, dreamy, magical… ARMY can definitely feel the love that BTS is showering back upon us for all their support and dedication since their debut. V & E show us the boys just loving life and being themselves comfortably. Who doesn’t LOVE the arcade and pizza. Stunning visuals…for sure! Each photo concept will resonate with each individual member’s fans. Everyone is different and lovely in their own way, and BTS surely have shown many sides of themselves and the way they love back. They are amazing at appealing to their diverse fan base and offering a little something for everyone…it’s true “LOVE”.
P.S. I ordered my copy the moment it was released on Amazon and I now PRAY I receive “O”. If not, I guess I’ll have to keep ordering the album until I get lucky!
