Roe Kapara is feeling himself on his eclectic new single, “Feel Sexy,” out via Epitaph Records. Preceded by the release of his recent EP Big Cigars and Satin Shorts, the track and accompanying lyric video is refreshingly bright as it explores the nuances of love and insecurity over euphoric piano chords. Plus, Kapara co-stars with an adorable goat named Flower in his video. An iconic duo.
Kapara explains that “Feel Sexy,” is “about seeking love in a world obsessed with sex and desire while navigating the insecurities I have with my body. I’ve always wanted to make something that felt like 2000s indie rock with a heavy downbeat to it. I grew up listening to that stuff, so it will always be in the back of my head when writing.”
