AJR Announce OK Orchestra Tour
The AJR Brothers released dates over the weekend for a national tour in support of their album OK Orchestra. Don’t worry these dates don’t start until 2022 so there’s time to figure out your concert game plan. Along with U.S. shows, the NYC based group have also teased international dates in the fine print of their tour admat. How exciting to have something to look forward to once we get out of this panini!! Tickets for U.S. concerts go on sale this Friday and you can check out the new album here.
Bebe Rexha and JinJoo Tag Team Wrestlemania
Bebe Rexha and JinJoo (DNCE) may not have faced off in the ring but they did start Wrestlemania 37 off with a bang. The duo performed “America The Beautiful” together to kick off night one of the biggest event in wrestling. If you missed their performance dont worry, we’ve got you. Along with a stunning opening number from Rexha and JinJoo, spectators were treated to an appearance from Bad Bunny, who tag-teamed with Damian Priest in a match against The Miz and John Morrison.
The 21st Annual Black Reel Awards
The 21st Black Reel Awards took place yesterday with Judas and the Black Messiah winning the Outstanding Film award. Additionally Daniel Kaluuya and Dominique Fishback won Best Supporting Actor/Actress for the film. One of the biggest winners was One Night in Miami, which nabbed five awards in total including one for Outstanding Emerging Director which was received by Regina King. Chadwick Boseman was also honored with the Outstanding Actor award for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Lastly, Black Reel Awards founder, Tim Gordon shared some words, “What an unprecedented year it was for Black filmmakers and creatives and I’m delighted that this year’s winners reflected the historic nature of Black Cinema.” He continued by adding, “We are honored to have this year’s class of winners join the rich history of those acknowledged in the past as they stand on the shoulders of Black Cinematic giants who paved the way.”
