Finger Eleven And Fefe Dobson Join Edgefest Line-Up

Last week we told you that Edgefest is returning to Molson Park in Barrie, ON on September 6. At that time the Edgefest people had only lined up four acts, but promised that more stars would be added to the line-up. Well, they’ve already begun to make good on that promise – and more are bound to be tacked onto the bill in the coming weeks.

Joining the already announced acts – The Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace, Stereophonics and Sloan – will be Canadian faves Finger Eleven plus up-and-coming songstress Fefe Dobson.

Dobson, for those not in the know, is the latest in a line of Canadian teenaged singing stars. Hailing from Toronto, the 18-year-old Dobson has already scored a record deal with Island Def Jam. Her debut album will be in stores later this summer.

Of course, Edgefesters are already familiar with Finger Eleven. The Edgefest vets return this year to perform songs off of their recent self-titled album, including their current hit single “Good Times.”

Tickets for Edgefest – which is to be the last concert ever held at Molson Park – are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Early Bird Tickets (if indeed there are any left) cost $27.50 and tix are regularly priced at $42.50.
