Fall Out Boy Steering Honda Civic Tour

Fall Out Boy will headline the 2007 Honda Civic Tour, which will begin
April 18 in Charlotte, N.C. The full routing and support acts will be
announced later this month; tickets go on sale to the general public
beginning Feb. 17, with pre-sale information to be announced.
In honor of the tour, Fall Out Boy has created a custom Honda
Civic Hybrid that will be showcased at each performance. At the end of
the tour, one lucky fan will win the car, which features Fall Out Boy
graphics, hemp upholstery, Alpine Electronics subwoofers and amplifiers
and an audio system loaded with personal messages from frontman Pete
Wentz.
We’re able to do some cool things with our stage show this
time around because of Honda and we are excited for our fans to come
along for the ride,” Wentz says. Fall Out Boy will be touring in
support of its upcoming album, “Infinity on High,” due Feb. 6 via
Island. First single “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race” is No. 13
this week on Billboard’s Modern Rock chart. The group will undertake a
European jaunt prior to the Honda Civic tour, beginning Jan. 22 in
Berlin.
