Bring Me The Horizon has joined an esteemed list of artists, including Architects, IDLES, and Japanese Breakfast, among others, contributing to the Spotify Singles collection. Today, the Sheffield heavyweights dropped an enthralling cover of Oasis’ 1995 hit “WONDERWaLL”, putting their own signature spin on the Britpop classic, infusing it with thunderous drums, echoing guitars, and frontman Oli Sykes’ shrill screams. The group also issued a reimagined rendition of their track “YOUtopia (EarthcOre Remix).” All streaming profits from Sony Music will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK.
The band kept things cheeky on Instagram, simply posting: “anyway here’s WONDERWaLL.” Meanwhile, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, who is gearing up for a major reunion tour, gave his official stamp of approval on X, writing, “I fucking LOVE it.”
Additionally, Bring Me The Horizon amplified the release by recreating iconic imagery from the official Oasis music video for “Wonderwall,” which will celebrate its 30th release anniversary later this year. Listen to BMTH’s cover of “WONDERWaLL” and “YOUtopia (EarthcOre Remix)” below.
