Badflower is back with an all-new track that is a perfect fit for your emo Halloween playlists. The act has unleashed “Haunting You” via Big Machine Records. The song is preceded by their 2024 offerings “Detroit” and “Teacher Has A Gun.”
Lead vocalist Josh Katz says of the track, “’Haunting You’ is really about being pushed out of someone’s life abruptly and completely. Like, when someone says, ‘you’re dead to me’ and moves on. It’s impossible to just forget about someone like that.”

Additionally, he notes, “Their presence lingers, and it can feel like you’re being haunted by them or even judged by them when they’re not there. I thought it was a fun concept to write from the perspective of a person that actually died – how that spirit might feel and what they would do.”
The band combines energetic rock sonics with subtly creepy melodies that’ll make your skin crawl with delight. The true highlight of the track is the bridge. Katz urgently sings, “I watch you carry on like nothing’s wrong, like nothing even happened/But something happened to me and it’s scary because/I’m still dead.”
