B2K Gets Dissed By Girls In 'Why I Love You' Video

B2K spent Wednesday (May 8) and Thursday (May 9) in North Hollywood and Van Nuys, California taping the video for “Why I Love You,” the third single from its self-titled album that has sold nearly 500,000 copies since its March release. The album’s second single “Gots Ta Be” is Number 15 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

IMX members Batman, Romeo, and L.D.B.; B2K protege Jhene; and actress Kyla Pratt from the UPN series One On One were on the set Thursday. IMX tapped a scene on the basketball courts with B2K members Omarion, Raz-B, J-Boog, and Li’l Fizz.

Raz-B spoke to LAUNCH about the difference between the “Why I Love You” video and the videos for the group’s songs “Uh Huh” and “Gots Ta Be.”

“Our first video, we were pretty much like in fantasy world,” he said. “Just straight sets. A few girls. Our next video was kinda like us still in the mix of B2K, but this one is pretty much outside of B2K. Just us hanging out at the movie theaters, checking out some girls. I mean, we don’t get they numbers or nothing like that, they diss us. But you know, B2K (is) trying to get they little mack on. And in between that we just got some dancing. That’s part of our trade.”
