A mysterious new project has surfaced, and it has the scene buzzing. Sorry My Love might just be the next big thing, and Awsten Knight is seemingly at the center of it.
The Instagram account for Sorry My Love quietly launched on February 15 (as of publication, the account has less than 1000 followers). While Dillon Francis and Albert Hype are confirmed to be behind the project, fans are speculating about Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight’s role. They are unsure whether he’s a full-time member, a collaborator, or a featured guest.
Knight has been actively engaging with every post on the Sorry My Love Instagram since its launch, fueling speculation that he’s directly involved. Notably, if you search “Sorry My Love” on Spotify, it leads to Dillon Francis’ artist page.

The latest teaser clip, posted today, March 14, the first to explicitly feature Knight, appears to have been filmed recently, aligning with the timeline of his seafoam green hair debut in November 2024. It’s also worth pointing out that Knight’s February 11 Instagram carousel included an image of Dillon Francis at what appears to be a car wash cleaning a sign that was seen in Sorry My Love’s teasers.
In the comments of the latest teaser, Knight jokingly wrote, “posting song on limewire exclusive today.” He also tagged HXLT and the Friendship CLB clothing brand in a separate comment—possibly hinting at collaborations beyond music.
So what exactly is Sorry My Love? Is it Knight’s solo project, a full-fledged band, or is he just a featured artist on a Dillon Francis-led project? Fans are waiting for answers, but one thing’s for sure—this mystery is only getting started, and new music is certainly on the way.
