Avril Lavigne brought the house down on the When We Were Young Fest 2025 Pink Stage with her classic hits such as “Complicated” and “What The Hell.” Excitingly, on Sunday, October 19, Lavigne brought out a special guest, Sum 41‘s Deryck Whibley, to perform “In Too Deep.” So, for anyone who wasn’t in attendance, sorry for the FOMO.
“I’ve come to crash your party, thank you very much for having me,” Whibley said onstage. “But I have one question! Are you guys fucking tired yet? Good, this next song is a jumping song!”
Even though Sum 41 may be retired, Whibley and crew have been making live cameos, including a recent appearance with Jonas Brothers in September.
