After teasing their star-studded collaboration in late August, Evanescence‘s Amy Lee, Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy are breaking the internet by officially releasing their song and accompanying music video for “End Of You.”

Lee kicks off the song with an earnest, powerful verse and chorus singing, “The end of you is the start of life for me.” Poppy and LaPlante offer their trademark intense screams. Each alternative voice creates an instantly iconic track that generations of metal fans will enjoy.

Check out the dazzling collab below.

Fans have shared funny memes and reactions to the big crossover in the past few weeks.

One Twitter/X user shared, “Biggest crossover since Engame tbh.” Another user said, “I’m seated. The Spotify employees are scared and asking me to leave because it’s ‘not september 4th @ 4pm et yet’ but I’m simply too seated.”

Additionally, Twitter/X users have been comparing this wild collab to massive pop crossovers such as “Bang Bang” with Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj, as well as “Lady Marmalade” featuring Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, and P!nk.

Perhaps our favorite reaction…one social media user noted, “boygenius for emo bitches (me).” This hits hard.
