Roe Kapara Performs “Everything’s Fine (Nuke’s Song)” Live At idobi Studio

Roe Kapara is one of those fascinating artists that come along every once in a while. A storyteller, a journeyman and a campfire king all rolled into one. Their music feels familiar yet fresh, nostalgic yet modern, intricate yet accessible. Their journey up until now has been one of construction and care. Building up a community of their own from 2020 through to today, their hard work and steady steps have reaped rewards beyond their wildest dreams, mainly a deal with the iconic Epitaph Records. The future is wide open and it couldn’t be more exciting for what may come next.

Back in April, they released their EP I Hope Hell Isn’t Real. They performed tracks from it live at idobi Studios. One of those songs was “Everything’s Fine (Nuke Song)“, an ode to the absolute hell space that the world is right now. Pop music in its purest and most powerful form, when performed with just Roe and his guitar, it takes on an even more sentiment and savage meaning. For an artist to create art that can shift in such a way is as incredible as it gets, and to hear it done so brilliantly at idobi HQ is even more of a treat. The perfect mix of intimacy, intensity and intricacy make this a performance that you simply can’t miss.

Roe Kapara has followed up I Hope Hell Isn’t Real recently with a new single. That is “Before We Croak“, a softly romantic little crooner all about making the most of what we have with someone before we run out of time. It features Chevy as well, which adds an even cuter dynamic to the apocalyptic ditty. Check it out below:
