“One Night Stand You” is a damn good example of all the things Beauty School Dropout does best in their musicality. Clever lyricism, charismatic vocal delivery, verses that swell with anticipation before bursting into an explosive chorus—there’s a reason this track was a hit from their sophomore album, READY TO EAT. They gave the song proper love and attention with a beautifully cinematic black-and-white music video. Beauty School Dropout also released a recent acoustic reimagining.
“Much like drugs I believe love (or lust) is a substance. It can just as easily be turned into a crutch to alleviate the pains of life,” vocalist Colie Hutzler said about the track. “Admittedly not the healthiest approach to romance but undeniably something I think we’ve all experienced one way or another. ‘one night stand you’ is about compromising your own standards for someone who is not worth the time nor energy.”

Beauty School Dropout doesn’t have any current plans for an upcoming tour. However, that doesn’t mean an announcement isn’t on the horizon.
