A R I Z O N A Perform “Graveyard” Live at idobi Studios

Coming off of the high of their self-titled, third studio album released earlier this year and the inevitable high that will follow once the group kicks off their forthcoming US headline tour in October, A R I Z O N A entered the idobi Studios in North Hollywood with fervor and poise. The self-titled album, which arrived in May via Elektra Records, is an acclaimed triumph of slick electro-pop oozing with personality and highlighted by the group’s gripping opening track, “Graveyard.”

Following a compelling performance of “Dark Skies,” the second track on A R I Z O N A’s new record, the group cooly transitioned into a stripped-back rendition of our personal favorite, “Graveyard.” Equipped with an electric and acoustic guitar, keyboard, and frontman Zachary Charles’ haunting vocal prowess, “Graveyard” came to life beneath the lights of the idobi Studios. While the original version of the track creates an alluring juxtaposition between the context of the track and its glistening, upbeat production, A R I Z O N A entirely transformed the song before our eyes. Harnessing Zachary Charles’ vocal range and depth, the collective’s reinterpretation of “Graveyard” resonates with a heightened sense of melancholic ambiance, enhanced by the presence of radiant synths that shimmer throughout.

If you’re reeling for more from A R I Z O N A like we are at idobi, be sure to check them out on their upcoming tour.
