A R I Z O N A Perform “Dark Skies”, Live at idobi Studios

A R I Z O N A arrived at idobi Studios with such a spring in their step. And with good reason. 2023 has been another fulfilling and fruitful moment in their incredible story. Most of that has come from the release of their third album. Simply titled A R I Z O N A, it’s a home run. A self-titled album is always a prestigious and poignant moment in any band’s career, and this is no different. A definitive collection of hot and heavy alternative anthems, it finds the band at their most creative, confident and effortlessly cool. A statement piece as much as a benchmark for others to try and reach. It’s a record that feels as vital to A R I Z O N A as it does to anybody who lets it into their lives.

One of the things that we love the most about a band coming into our space is how they will transform their songs for the occasion. And when it came to performing “Dark Skies“, A R I Z O N A made sure to leave everybody gobsmacked.

Where the original shimmers with the heat of a thousand suns, this stripped-back affair keeps tension at the forefront. Soft guitars flicker against throbbing synths whilst vocalist Zachary Charles croons gorgeously over the top. It keeps everything in perfect balance, never overstepping the mark or pushing things too far over the edge. It all comes together to equal a stunning version of a special track from a band that has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. It’s another treat delivered in the gorgeous surroundings of idobi Studios.

With plenty more gas in their tank and more surprises up their sleeves. You better keep your eyes on A R I Z O N A. They are only just getting started.
