Youth Fountain Launches New Record & “Clarity” Music Video

Youth Fountain, aka Vancouver’s own Tyler Zanon, is brightening every fan’s weekend with the release of his new album Together In Lonesome. Across all 12 tracks, Zanon reveals his pop-punk prowess and overall musical growth from 2021’s Keepsakes & Reminders. With today’s release, Youth Fountain also debuted the new music video for “Clarity,” a vulnerable track about insecurities.

“I’ve been stuck in a body with one too many flaws/I hate the words ‘I’m sorry’ but it’s all that I’ve got,” Zanon urgently sings.

This isn’t the only raw track on the LP from Pure Noise Records. “Writing songs takes a lot out of me because of how much of myself I put into them,” Zanon says. “Even though it was hard revisiting some of this stuff, it goes to show you that a good song is a good song no matter when it was written. Even if it was on the back burner, it can still shine when the time is right.”

Check out the full music video for “Clarity” below.

“This record lyrically touches on the feelings of essentially losing everything that ever mattered to me and going through the motions, twists and turns of what life has thrown at me over the past decade of my life,” the artist says of his new record.

Zanon continues by sharing, “Mostly overcoming the loss of a significant other and overwhelming emotions of never feeling like I could be enough for anyone or anything I pursue. With this record being the project’s third release I knew I wanted to try and do something super special as a follow-up to the sophomore album. I would say this record is a pretty dark love story album and I hope it means a lot to all the fans of Youth Fountain.”
