It’s the end of an era for You Me At Six. In a recently released YouTube announcement entitled, “Time (2005-2025),” the band showed highlights from their two-decade-long career interspersed with the musicians walking through a graveyard with album names etched in headstones.
“It’s time. It’s time for the finish line. It’s time for goodbye. So, for the last time, one more time, it’s time,” vocalist Josh Franceschi says at the end of the video. Check out the full video below, and grab a tissue while you’re at it.
“When we started YMAS we were kids. We only ever wanted longevity, to travel and to experience life as a group of friends. We feel like on the eve of our 20th anniversary as a band, now is a good time to call time,” says Franceschi. “We’re in a fortunate position where our fans still want to see us live and come celebrate the life of this band. So that is what we will do for 2024 and 2025. We can’t wait to see our fans on the road.”

They say do what you love and you will never work a day in your life, this has been so true for me, I feel so lucky,” he says. “Thank you so much to all the fans that turned my dream into a reality. I love you all and I can’t wait to see you for our final shows. Sixers for life.”
