Who’s that Daisy Grenade feature?! It is, of course, none other than The Maine’s John O’Callaghan. Today, the duo confirmed that their heavily teased new single, “Liquor And Kerosene,” will feature O’Callaghan. You can also presave the new single, which hasn’t been given an official release date, here.

On January 20, the Daisy Grenade duo began teasing fans with a preview of their soon-to-be-released single, “Liquor And Kerosene,” creating a buzz as they revealed a mystery feature vocalist. Offering a sneak peek into the forthcoming release, Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker shared a snippet of vocals along with a preview of the track’s lyrics. The duo also presented a Pokemon-style “Who’s that Daisy Grenade feature?” slide, showcasing a silhouette of the mystery vocalist.

Lucky for us, some eagle-eyed fans not only successfully identified the silhouette as belonging to O’Callaghan, but one fan even pointed out that the duo has already shared the stage with O’Callaghan back in December to perform the unreleased track. User @brandonfromcanada shares, “I saw you guys open for a certain band in Toronto. A special guest came out to perform this with you, I feel like I know who it is Side note – I’ve been trying to find this song since that show, glad to know it just wasn’t released yet and I didn’t imagine it.”

Following the pair’s performance on The Maine’s Sweet 16 Tour in Toronto, ON, Canada on December 3, 2023, they also shared on Twitter, “do you guys remember when john came out for our song.”

Daisy Grenade “Liquor And Kerosene” Lyrics:

Running from the sunlight, burning through my brain till I can’t see
Telling me it’s alright – nothing looks the same under the sheets
Falling down forever, downing under pressure, feeling nothing without you
Liquor and kerosene, we’re kinda embarrassing falling to pieces in California
Easy to run away, better to let it fade, I think we’re lost, hate to break it to you
Wreckless innocence – we’re so obsessed with the mess we’re in
Hard to see through the smoke-screen, burning like liquor and kerosene
Dancing in the basement to your favorite sad song
And turning off the light so we can see
Everything is breaking
I’m laughing cause I don’t know how to be
Sleeping with both eyes open
Dreaming underwater lying through my teeth again
