Wallows is gearing up to release their third album Model on May 24 via Atlantic Records. However, before the big day, Wallows is giving us one more taste of what’s to come with their new single, “A Warning.” The illuminating new song is preceded by “Calling After Me” “Your Apartment” and “Bad Dream.”
Featuring glistening, yet melancholy, indie pop instrumentals, the chorus says, “You could’ve given me a warning ‘cause you had me holding out for nothing/Oh, you could’ve given me a warning if you knew that all your walls would cave in/Yeah, I could’ve given it some more, but you had me holding open the door.”
In celebration of the new record, myriad independent record stores will be hosting listening parties the week of Model‘s release. You can check out the full list of venues here. Plus, the act recently announced a tour spanning from North America to the UK and Europe. They’ll hit 38 cities over the summer and bring along singer-songwriter BENEE as support.
