Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Underoath released their breakout fourth studio album, They’re Only Chasing Safety? Neither can we. Spencer Chamberlain‘s debut release with the band was launched with their leading single, “Reinventing Your Exit,” with the full album arriving on June 15, 2004.
To celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the album’s release, Underoath will be hitting the road on tour this summer with Static Dress as support. Not only will the band perform They’re Only Chasing Safety in full, but they will also be performing a secondary set of fan-voted tracks unique to each night of the tour. The band shares, “Every song from every album over the past 20 years will be on the table.” Presale tickets and VIP packages will be available on Wednesday, April 17, at 10 AM local time here.
The band shares in a social media post, “Twenty. Years. This is going to be like nothing we’ve ever done. ‘They’re Only Chasing Safety’ in full every night plus *another* set of songs voted on by each city. Every song from every album over the past 20 years will be on the table…Let’s get nuts.”
