If there is a dude that knows how to write a pop punk riff to perfection, it is our guy Tom DeLonge. The blink-182 guitarist has announced today that he is partnering with Fender to release an exclusive limited run of Stratocaster guitar along with some super cool accessories. In May of this year, Fender also teamed up with Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance to release a new Jazz Bass guitar. The company is really hyping the emo community and we love it. The DeLonge guitars come in four colors: daphne blue, surf green, graffiti yellow, and black. One of them can be yours for $1,299.99.

Speaking on this collaboration with Fender, Tom DeLonge shared: “I try to write music that is accessible and easy to play and enjoy, so that people can come along for the ride. This simplicity really inspired this new signature Stratocaster. It just has one knob and one pickup, which just makes it easy to turn it up, play and sound great. It especially important when you’re in front of a crowd and already have plenty to think about”.

He continues, “On top of that, the bright colours give it a timeless, California feel that stands out on any stage. Together with Fender, a brand that is deeply rooted in my musical identity, we’ve created something that really stands the test of time – like I strive to do with my music”.

To celebrate the collaboration, DeLonge sat down with Fender to give a full explanation of his new line of guitars. Check it out here!
