It’s been a few years since we heard new music from Lizzy Farrall. 2020 saw the release of her full-length debut album Bruise. An honest and heartfelt look into her heart and soul, it was a record that was as vulnerable as it was confident. And in the time that has followed, Lizzy has only come more and more into herself as a woman as well as an artist. And her new track, “Room 42” shows just much all bets are off in terms of what we should expect from her.
Where her previous work blended pop and rock in an additive way, “Room 42” takes things to a different level with its club-ready instrumental. Pulsating, polished and powerful, it’s a Summer anthem in every sense. And Lizzy herself embodies her vocal, intense and innocent in equal measure. It’s a song which will take you off guard whilst becoming trapped in your head for the next month.
