Following the release of “Dance In Hell,” pop-punk artist and recent Open Your Ears Records signee, Penny Bored has released new single, “Gossip.” The solo project from Dallas native Faith Alesia is the perfect new music offering for those obsessed with Y2K pop-rock à la Hilary Duff, Aly & AJ, and beyond. “Gossip” is scheduled to appear on Penny Bored’s EP I’m Bored!, which arrives on September 13.
“I think at some point we’ve all had a crush on our best friend, but were too nervous to say anything,” Alesia says. “‘Gossip’ is all about that, but instead of saying anything, you hold on to the intimacy of sharing secrets and gossiping.”

“I’m Bored! is all about navigating your 20s,” Alesia says of the upcoming EP. “We experience heartbreak, navigate friendships, gossip, and even learn to own up to our own mistakes. This collection of songs breaks down my journey of entering a new phase of adulthood and learning to make the most of it, even if I have to be a little delusional some days to get through it.”
