Are you ready for your emo dreams to come true? The Used are getting back on the bus for a full US tour this fall! And they’re taking Sleeping With Sirens and Dead American with them as their special guests. Beginning September 5 in Alabama and wrapping up October 11 in California, the run will take the heavy hitters to both coasts to support their new album, Toxic Positivity.
This tour marks the first time The Used and Sleeping With Sirens have been on the road together since The Rockstar Energy Drink DISRUPT Festival Tour in 2019. Now, with longer sets, a more high-end production, and new music, the bands are excited to build even stronger connections with their fans. And even now, celebrating the 21st anniversary of their iconic self-titled record, The Used still gets excited to write new music and build their live show from the ground up.
Frontman Bert McCracken explains his constant need to create.
“I think we have no choice but to write and write and write. It has always just been in us, and we’ve had to get it out. I read a quote once that said you either work your entire lifetime on four great pieces or you write thousands of pieces and become great that way. Everything that we feel, I think it always makes for a good song.”

Toxic Positivity, described by McCracken as “a day-in-the-life journey of a depressed, anxiety-ridden person,” is just as dynamic as it is emotional. We can’t wait to hear these songs live and see how the band tells the story of the record onstage.
