After trekking across the United States for dates on their whirlwind Sweet Sixteen Tour, The Maine is helping fans kick off a new year with a brand-new collaboration. The “thoughts i have while lying in bed” artists brought new life to a track from their 2023 self-titled record “leave in five” with help from MisterWives.

Earlier in the week, the band teased the forthcoming collaboration, and a few fans figured out the feature ahead of its official release. Vocalist Mandy Lee offered her sultry, pop-tinged vocals to craft a refreshing twist to the dance-inducing indie chorus, melding flawlessly with John O’Callaghan.

Check out The Maine‘s new rendition of “leave in five” with MisterWives below.

Beyond the new track being available on streaming platforms as of Friday, December 29, the Photo Finish Records artists shared black and white visuals to showcase “leave in five.” Fingers crossed that this means a music video is on its way and this is merely a little snippet.

Coming up in early 2024, The Maine will be supporting the second leg of Fall Out Boy’s So Much For (2our) Dust with Jimmy Eat World in the winter.
